Martha’s New Venture
Martha’s Choice Marketplace, the largest food pantry in Montgomery County, serving more than 6,000 food-insecure families, is expanding to include Martha’s Community Farm.
The Farm will breathe new life into what was formerly known as St. Gabriel’s Hall in Audubon. It will grow vegetables, flowers and herbs to supply families accessing Martha’s Choice Marketplace and other local pantries.
Martha’s Community Farm is also partnering with several organizations among them Montgomery County Anti-Hunger Network, Lower Providence Township, Penn State Extension, Garden of Health and Cabrini University, for gardening expertise and to offer plots and programs to local residents and groups.
At Martha’s, families and volunteers across all walks of life come together to make connections foster a climate of mutual respect, understanding and growth.
Volunteers are always needed for the gardening seasons to help with a wide range of activities. Martha’s is also seeking donations to support the food pantry and the Farm. Come grow with us!
Martha’s Community Farm is located at 1350 Pawling’s Road, Audobon, PA., 19401
The Farm is open to volunteers on Tuesdays & Fridays from 9 AM – 5 PM.
