Our mission at Martha’s is to build community and get healthy food out to people who need it. We do this by providing dignified access to healthy food and services that address the evolving and diverse needs of our friends and neighbors.
Martha’s embraces a compassionate approach, extending love and respect to all the individuals and families we serve.
We aim to drive positive change in the food system and across our local communities. How we serve is just as important as what we serve.

About Martha’s
Martha’s Choice Marketplace and Community Farm is the largest, most visited, food pantry in Montgomery County. Martha’s was founded in 1996 and became a ‘Choice Model’ pantry in 2015 to focus on guest health and dignity.
The community we serve is the inspiration behind everything we do at Martha’s. At the Pantry, we provide more than two-million pounds of food each year to over 15,000 neighbors.
Evolving our Vision
In 2021, we began to utilize a ten-acre agricultural site in Audubon, PA to create Martha’s Community Farm. This endeavor was born out of the rapidly rising need for food, and our desire to maximize opportunities and resources for our community.
At the Farm, we cultivate thousands of pounds of fresh produce, with the specific goal of providing pantry guests with culturally appropriate items that are not widely available at regional food banks such as tomatillos, cilantro, and peppers.

As a program of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and guided by the belief in the inherent worth of every person, we envision a future where hunger is prevented through innovative, community-based programs. Our goal is to advance a more sustainable and inclusive food system. We strive for a society where all individuals are treated with unwavering dignity and respect, ensuring their access to nourishing food, and fostering their overall well-being.
